BRYGITTE LUSINSKI, placing FIRST low net.  In the First Flight was Franny Bush, we had no one in the 2nd or 3rd flights;  our scramble team included Katy Nelson, Melody Kimmel, Jeanie Schreiber and Jackie Poole.  In the 4th Flight we have WANDA HINSON, placing FIRST Low Gross. Both Brygitte and Wanda will be moving on to the Championship Tournament in Rancho Mirage, CA in October.  We want to congratulate all of our players, you are all winners.

A handicap is important because it allows golfers at any skill level to compete on an equitable basis. Posting all of your scores will give you an accurate measure of your level of play.

Another option is to post your scores to your EWGA handicap profile using the new EWGA app for iphone or android phone. Post immediately after your round and it will be synced with your online account. To get the app go to your App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device and search for EWGA. Simply download the free app and sign in using your EWGA login and password.

I ♥ golf

I really love playing golf. It is not so much the idea of coming in first, second or even third. It is the competitive feeling I have when I am on the course. I love meeting new people and playing on different courses around the area. I have made many new friends on the golf course. We share the same highs and lows, depending on how our golf game is going on that particular day. I believe golf has made me more social. It helps you develop a level of patience and humility. I have learned not to take the game so serious and just enjoy being on the course with friends. -Suzette Sweeny

I started playing golf for the sun tan and new shoes & outfits. I quickly found it was a way to make long lasting friends and build a network for my send out cards business. It also gets me out of the house once a week & away from my computer.
